Updating the radio SW

    Allows the user to write a newer firmware to the radio.

    To update the radio SW:

1. Make sure that the target radio is powered off before attaching a programming cable.
2. Connect the target radio to the USB port of the PC using a programming cable.
3. Power up the target radio using Power On/Off knob.
4. Wait a few seconds after connecting the radio to allow time for the PC to detect the radio.
5. Select Tools>Update on the menu bar. The Update Radio dialog window appears, listing the available firmware.
6. Select the desired firmware to write into the radio. Click on the OK button.
7. A progress bar appears as data is written to the radio. Upon a successful write, the progress bar disappears and a window appears to indicate that the write is successful. The radio restarts itself automatically.
